Reviews Set in the 26th century, the story takes place 300 years after a societal collapse caused by a major war. In that society, it"s a technological dark age following a pinnacle of achievement far beyond where we are right now. Cyborg technology is a way of life. People are augmented a lot as workers, so being a cyborg is not unusual. The main character is a cyborg. She has an organic human brain, and she looks like she"s about fourteen years old. She has a completely artificial body and she"s lost her memory. She is found in a wreckage and reconstituted by a cyber-surgeon who becomes her surrogate father

A female hero movie that isn"t full of sjw crap ? Sounds great. Ill probably never understand why people like the original so much. After 4 times seeing it, conclusion is that its just a random average B Movie from the 70s with some unique visuals. I feel nothing from it. Unlike the remake. The remake is so much better I think. The 2019 life action is by far the best anime adaptation till date. For once, we get an anime adaptation correctly. Thank you. Tilda is amazing. Great film. the director nailed the setting. What a trip. Thanks for posting this, just saw an early screening of the film and had to check out the source material. We need a sequel we need a second one please this movie was so good. I know the CGI is off putting to some but I think it works for this type of action movie. Its better than having to use a thousand cuts for live action sequences as well as using CGI models for the exaggerated stuff.

I really wanna show this movie to some friends, but Im not sure if I should show them the original first. Any thoughts on what to do.
